It's been a month since we've received the keys to our new old house, and I figured I should start recording our progress before too much time passed.
The first weekend after closing, we went over to our new old house and spent an afternoon mowing the lawn and pulling weeds. Some may call it chore, but it was the most rewarding and peaceful time we've had in a long time. There's something so calming about being close to earth.
On the way back to the apartment, I saw a shooting star across clear aqua evening sky. It felt like a reassuring message that things were going well!
Well, we have loads of work to make the house feel like our home.
Time to get to work!
